Kidepo Valley National Park is one most isolated parks in Uganda, but also it's remoteness gives it a unique fill from the rest of the parks. Its has abundant wildlife and a the second largest bird population in Uganda next to Queen Elizabeth. Its landscape is semi arid desert and Savannah with sand-rivers trans-versing its lakes-cape. Kidepo Valley National Park is one of the few parks where game viewing and bird watch is exciting all year around.

Wildlife.

With only one rain season that lasts for about 4-6 months Kidepo Valley National Park has low vegetation cover which makes the spread out park wildlife easier to spot. The park has a vibrant wildlife population of over 75 mammal species and 400 bird species.
